01, Malibu outdoor kitchen landscape
Malibu outdoor kitchens are full-suite installs in the most aggressive coastal environment we service.
The outdoor kitchens we work on along the Pacific Coast Highway from the Malibu Colony out through Point Dume to Broad Beach are not the simple grill-on-a-pad setups we see in inland LA. These are integrated installations: a 54-inch Lynx Professional or Alfresco ALXE-56 grill, side burners, a Sub-Zero outdoor undercounter refrigerator (DEL3050 or UC-24RO), a Marvel ML24RAS or Perlick HP24RS ice maker, a kegerator, sometimes a Twin Eagles pizza oven or a built-in rotisserie. The whole suite is built into a stone or stucco surround with marine-grade fasteners, dedicated gas and electrical runs, and proper drainage. The build cost on a Carbon Beach or Malibu Cove install runs into six figures before landscaping. They get used hard from May through October and they sit through the winter pushing back against everything the Pacific throws at them.
That last part, what the Pacific throws at them, is the difference between Malibu outdoor kitchen service and the same equipment fifteen miles inland. Salt-laden marine air corrodes copper, brass, and aluminum components five times faster than air in Calabasas or Hidden Hills. Humidity stays high year-round even when air temperature drops. Wind off the ocean drives salt particles into electrical compartments, ignition modules, gas valve internals, and condenser coils that were sealed against rain but never engineered for the kind of constant ionic exposure a Malibu install sees. We service Lynx, Alfresco, Twin Eagles, and DCS grills in Pasadena where the same components routinely hit year 12 looking new. We service the same models in Malibu where year 5 brings the first round of igniter and gasket replacements and year 8 brings the first major burner rebuild.
This page is for Malibu outdoor kitchen repair specifically, the full suite, on a single dispatch, with the parts inventory and the service approach that the coastal environment demands. We're our LA branch's PCH-corridor team, dispatched from (424) 325-0520 with same-day windows for Malibu calls. If you have a single appliance down and you're inside the Malibu zip codes, we can usually be there in a Malibu morning slot or early afternoon. If you're scheduling preventive maintenance on the whole outdoor kitchen, we book the longer multi-hour window that covers the suite.
Licensed in California (BHGS #A49573) and EPA 608 Universal certified (#1346255700410) for sealed-system refrigeration work.
02, The failure tree
Outdoor kitchen failures we see in Malibu.
Inland outdoor kitchen service trees emphasize burner port carbonization, igniter wear, and rotisserie motor brushes. Malibu installs have those same modes plus a coastal-specific overlay that drives the failure calendar earlier. We work them in order from cheapest to most expensive.
1. Salt-air corrosion on burner assemblies
The single most common Malibu failure pattern. Salt deposits combine with grease and dust to form a paste that narrows burner port orifices, distorts flame geometry, and accelerates oxidation of the brass and stainless burner heads. On Lynx Professional brass burners (L54PSR, L36PSR) this shows up as uneven flame color around year 5 to 6, patches of orange where the flame should be blue. On Alfresco ALXE-series cast stainless burners and Twin Eagles TEBQ-series the pattern is similar but slower because of the heavier burner casting. Service: full burner removal, ultrasonic cleaning of ports, inspection of internal venturi tubes, gasket replacement at the burner-to-manifold connection. Catching this at maintenance is roughly a third the cost of waiting for the burner to fail outright.
2. Igniter and electrode failure (moisture in module)
Coastal humidity finds its way into spark module housings through cracked seals, failed gaskets, and battery-compartment covers that were never designed for marine exposure. Once moisture gets in, salt accelerates the corrosion of the contact points and the spark output drops. Symptoms come in stages: weak spark, intermittent ignition, eventually a single burner that won't light, then more burners failing in sequence. On Lynx, Alfresco, and Twin Eagles the spark module is replaceable as a unit ($180 to $280 installed). The electrodes themselves at each burner are a separate part, corroded electrode tips lose gap geometry and don't generate a usable spark even with a fresh module. We test the module first, then check each electrode, then replace what's actually failed.
3. Outdoor refrigerator compressor failure
Sub-Zero DEL3050, UC-24RO, Marvel ML24RAS, and Perlick HP24RS outdoor refrigeration units run their compressors harder than indoor equivalents because of the wider ambient temperature range they're approved for. On a Malibu coastal install, salt-driven bearing failure in the compressor or condenser fan motor typically shows up at year 6 to 8, versus year 10 to 12 on the same equipment inland. Diagnostic order before pulling the compressor: GFCI outlet test (about 30 percent of "fridge stopped cooling" calls trace here), condenser coil fouling check, door gasket integrity, fan motor function. Compressor work is the last and most expensive answer; on Sub-Zero outdoor it runs $680 to $980 parts and labor through OEM authorized distribution.
4. Gas valve corrosion
Brass gas valves, regulators, and quick-disconnects develop internal oxidation in coastal exposure. The first symptom is usually a stiff or sticking control knob, the valve stem is binding because of salt corrosion on the internal seal surfaces. Left untreated, the valve can fail in either direction: stuck closed (burner won't light at all), or stuck partially open (gas flow won't shut down completely when the knob turns to off). The second case is the dangerous one and we treat it as a same-day priority. Replacement gas valves on Lynx Professional, Alfresco ALXE, and Twin Eagles TEBQ run $320 to $580 each depending on the valve assembly and whether it's a single-burner or dual-burner unit. We also inspect the upstream regulator on the gas line at every gas-valve service.
5. Control knob and panel oxidation
The metal stem behind the plastic control knob seizes from salt corrosion on the shaft, and the homeowner notices a knob that turns hard or won't turn at all. Less commonly, the knob itself cracks and the metal D-ring inside oxidizes. On the panel face, screw heads pit and discolor; on premium installs with 304-stainless panels, the panel itself starts spotting around year 4 to 6. 316 marine-grade panels (some Twin Eagles and premium Lynx Professional builds) hold up substantially longer. Service: knob and shaft replacement, internal valve stem cleaning and treatment, panel polishing and protective sealant application.
6. Rotisserie motor failure
Rotisserie motors mounted to the back of a Lynx, Alfresco, or Twin Eagles grill housing live in a particularly hostile environment, high heat from the firebox below, salt air from the ocean side, and direct UV in afternoon sun. The motor windings and brushes are usually fine; what fails is the bearing and the shaft seal. Symptoms: motor starts but rotation is uneven, motor runs hot and shuts down on thermal protection, motor doesn't start at all. Replacement motors run $180 to $320 depending on platform; we also check the gear engagement at the spit shaft because a failing motor often takes the gear with it.
7. Ice maker mineral and salt buildup
Outdoor ice makers, Marvel ML24RAS, Perlick HP24RS, Sub-Zero outdoor ice machines, see two compounding mineral problems in Malibu: hard water from the local supply, and salt particles drawn into the unit through the ambient air the unit's compressor is breathing. The combination forms scale on the evaporator plate, in the water reservoir, and around the ice mold inlet. Symptoms: smaller and smaller ice cubes, slower production cycle, eventually ice that tastes off. Service: full descale of the water path, evaporator plate cleaning, water filter replacement, sanitization cycle. Coastal Malibu installs need this every 6 to 9 months; inland the same equipment runs annually.
03, Brands and models
Outdoor kitchen brands we service in Malibu.
Malibu outdoor kitchens cluster around eight premium brands. Each has a different parts chain, a different characteristic coastal failure mode, and a different service approach. We carry the most common parts for all of them on the truck.
Lynx Professional
L54PSR · L36PSR · 30/42/54-inch Professional series · 27-inch Asado
The most common premium grill in our Malibu service mix. Brass ceramic burners hold up well to salt provided the ports are kept clear at maintenance intervals. Common service items at year 5 to 8 on coastal installs: spark module, electrode kits, single burner assemblies, gas valve replacement, knob and shaft kits. Lynx parts come through authorized distribution with most high-volume items on the truck and 2 to 3 day lead on uncommon parts.
Alfresco
ALXE-56 · ALXE-42 · ALXE-30 · 36-inch and 56-inch Outdoor Kitchen series
Alfresco's heavier cast-stainless burner construction holds up well in coastal exposure, burners themselves often outlast the surrounding components. Common service: igniter electrodes, rotisserie motor, control knob assemblies, gas valves on the side-burner cluster. Alfresco parts chain is generally faster than Twin Eagles; most components stocked at regional distribution with 1 to 2 day lead.
Twin Eagles
TEBQ36R · TEBQ54R · 36/54-inch Eagle One series · pizza oven and rotisserie modules
Twin Eagles' use of 304 stainless throughout (with 316 marine-grade hardware on premium specs) puts them at the top tier for coastal longevity. Common service items concentrate on the gas valve and igniter side; the burners themselves are unusually durable. Twin Eagles parts chain is the longest-lead of the premium brands, uncommon parts can run 3 to 5 days through OEM. We pre-confirm parts availability before scheduling Twin Eagles dispatches.
DCS by Fisher & Paykel
BH1-36RN · 30/36/48-inch Series 9 Professional · grill cart and built-in variants
DCS shares parts platforms with Fisher & Paykel commercial, which means parts availability is generally good and the sealed-system refrigeration components hold up well in coastal environments. Common service: igniter modules, ceramic radiant rods, side burner assemblies. DCS uses a slightly different ignition architecture than Lynx and Alfresco, we approach the diagnostic with the DCS-specific failure tree rather than treating them as generic.
Blaze
BLZ-5LBM · BLZ-3 · BLZ-4 · Premium LTE 32/40-inch built-in
Blaze occupies the entry-premium tier in our Malibu service mix, concentrated in newer renovations and ADU builds where the budget didn't extend to Lynx or Alfresco. The build is lighter than the top-tier brands but well-engineered for the price point. Service tree is similar, igniters, burners, valves, with parts that typically run 30 to 40 percent below the equivalent Lynx parts. Generally faster lead time on parts.
Sub-Zero outdoor
DEL3050 · UC-24RO · UC-24RO/PH · 24-inch outdoor undercounter
The dominant outdoor refrigeration platform in Malibu luxury kitchens. Both the DEL3050 (drawer-style) and UC-24RO (undercounter) require GFCI and built-in installation. Common Malibu service items at year 5 to 9: condenser fan motor, evaporator thermistor, door gasket (salt-accelerated), 318ML or equivalent control board on units approaching year 10. Sub-Zero outdoor parts run 30 to 50 percent above mid-tier outdoor equivalents.
Marvel
ML24RAS · ML24RFS · 24-inch outdoor refrigerator and ice maker · beverage center
Marvel outdoor occupies the mid-premium tier, concentrated in 2018-to-2023 Malibu renovations. Sealed cabinet construction with above-average drain management. Common service: drain inspection, condenser coil cleaning, door gasket replacement on coastal units, ice maker descale on the ML24RAS. Parts availability is generally good through Marvel distribution.
Perlick HP24RS and outdoor refrigeration
HP24RS · HC24RO · HC24RB-1 · 24-inch outdoor refrigeration and ice machines
Perlick is the commercial-grade brand specified in the higher-end Malibu outdoor kitchens, often paired with Perlick draft beer systems on properties with bar setups. HP and HC outdoor units use 304 stainless cabinet with sealed compressor compartment. Service items concentrate on the compressor and refrigerant side at year 8+; cabinet and gasket components hold up well even in heavy coastal environments due to the commercial-grade build.
04, Why Malibu needs more frequent service
Coastal maintenance: the Malibu service calendar runs at twice the pace.
The same outdoor kitchen running in Hidden Hills and running on Carbon Beach is on two different service calendars. Inland properties run on annual preventive maintenance; coastal Malibu installs run on a 6-month interval, and on heavy-exposure addresses (Carbon Beach, the bluff edge of Point Dume, the immediate Broad Beach frontage) we sometimes shorten that to 4 months. The math is straightforward: salt-driven wear that takes 12 months to develop in Pasadena develops in 4 to 6 months in Malibu, and catching it at maintenance is roughly four times cheaper than waiting for the failure call.
The biannual Malibu maintenance visit covers: full burner removal and ultrasonic port cleaning on the grill; igniter electrode inspection and contact treatment; gas valve and regulator function check including knob shaft cleaning; condenser coil cleaning on the outdoor refrigerator (this alone is half the value of the maintenance visit); drain pan and condensate line inspection on the refrigerator; door gasket integrity check on every refrigeration unit; ice maker descale and water filter replacement; rotisserie motor function and gear engagement; visual corrosion sweep on cabinet hardware, fasteners, and panel surfaces. Post-winter inspection in March or April catches anything that developed during the rainy and high-humidity season before summer use begins.
Preventive versus reactive cost works out roughly like this for a typical 54-inch Malibu outdoor kitchen with grill, outdoor refrigerator, and ice maker. Preventive: $280 to $420 per maintenance visit, twice a year. Reactive on the same unit when components fail at year 6 without maintenance: $580 to $980 for a burner-and-igniter rebuild, $480 to $880 for the outdoor refrigerator compressor, $220 to $380 for the ice maker descale. Six years of preventive maintenance runs roughly $4,000; six years of reactive repairs on a neglected coastal install routinely passes $8,000 and sometimes leaves you replacing components rather than repairing them. The honest call we make to Malibu homeowners: maintenance is cheaper, and the equipment lasts longer.
05, Recent Malibu jobs
Recent Malibu outdoor kitchen repairs.
Four representative Malibu service calls, model, symptom, diagnosis, repair, and cost. Names and addresses omitted; the technical scenarios are typical of what we see on Malibu outdoor kitchen calls in each microclimate.
Lynx L54PSR, Carbon Beach oceanfront
Symptom: Two of four main burners refused to light. Owner had been using a stick lighter to ignite the grill for several weeks before calling.
Diagnosis: Spark module showed degraded output across all electrodes from moisture intrusion through a cracked seal on the battery compartment cover. Two of the four electrodes themselves had pitted tips with lost gap geometry. Burner ports had a moderate salt-and-grease buildup but were not the primary failure.
Repair: Spark module replacement, full electrode kit replacement at all four burners, battery compartment seal replacement, ultrasonic cleaning of all burner ports, gas valve function verification.
Cost & time: $620 total. Same-day, completed on the diagnostic visit. 2.5 hours on-site.
Sub-Zero DEL3050, Point Dume bluff installation
Symptom: Outdoor undercounter refrigerator running but interior temperature drifting up to 50°F instead of the 38°F setpoint. Owner reported it had been "warmer than usual" for about ten days.
Diagnosis: GFCI outlet checked clean. Condenser coil completely fouled with salt-and-dust paste, the unit had not been serviced in over two years on a bluff installation with heavy salt exposure. Door gasket showed compression failure at the upper-left corner. Compressor and fan motor tested within spec.
Repair: Full condenser coil cleaning, door gasket replacement, drain pan inspection and clearing, ambient airflow path cleared. Recommended 6-month maintenance interval going forward.
Cost & time: $385 total. 90 minutes on-site.
Twin Eagles TEBQ54R, Broad Beach frontage
Symptom: Front-left control knob seized solid. Owner could not turn the burner on or off; the burner had been left in a half-open position from the previous use.
Diagnosis: Brass gas valve internal seal surfaces showed advanced salt corrosion. Valve stem binding was severe enough that we determined the valve was not safely serviceable in place, replacement was the correct call. Adjacent valves on the same manifold were tested and found to be at the early stages of the same corrosion pattern.
Repair: Gas valve replacement on the front-left burner. Preventive cleaning and treatment on the three adjacent valves. Knob shaft replacement. Manifold leak test. Full ignition system check after reassembly.
Cost & time: $580 total. 3 hours on-site.
Alfresco ALXE-42 + Marvel ML24RAS, Malibu Colony
Symptom: Multi-issue maintenance visit. Owner scheduled the full outdoor kitchen suite for end-of-summer service after noticing weak spark on the grill and slower ice production from the Marvel undercounter ice maker.
Diagnosis: Grill: igniter electrodes at the early stages of corrosion, not yet failed; burner ports moderately fouled. Ice maker: heavy mineral and salt scale on the evaporator plate; water filter past replacement interval; reservoir showed scale at the inlet. No major component failures on either appliance.
Repair: Full grill maintenance, burner removal and ultrasonic port cleaning, electrode contact treatment, gas valve function check, knob shaft cleaning. Ice maker descale, water filter replacement, sanitization cycle, evaporator plate clean.
Cost & time: $420 total maintenance visit. 2 hours on-site for both appliances.
06, Pricing
Outdoor kitchen repair costs in Malibu.
Diagnostic is $120, applied toward the repair when you approve work. Labor and parts are quoted in writing before any work begins. These ranges reflect typical 2024-2025 outdoor kitchen repair pricing on the Malibu PCH corridor across the eight brands we service most.
Premium-brand parts uplift is real on the Malibu install base, Twin Eagles and high-tier Lynx Professional parts run 30 to 50 percent above the equivalent Blaze part. Sub-Zero outdoor refrigeration runs at the top of the parts-cost curve through OEM authorized distribution. We tell you the brand-specific cost differential before you authorize repair, and we pre-confirm parts availability before scheduling the dispatch so we don't waste a Malibu drive on a parts-not-available trip.
07, Where we go in Malibu
Malibu neighborhoods we cover.
Malibu coverage runs the full PCH corridor from the Malibu Colony through Carbon Beach, La Costa Beach, Las Tunas Beach, Big Rock, Las Flores, and Topanga Beach on the south side, out through Point Dume, Zuma Beach, Broad Beach, and El Pescador on the north end, and up the canyons, Malibu Canyon, Latigo Canyon, Encinal Canyon, and Decker Canyon, into the inland portions of Malibu Cove and the Santa Monica Mountains.
The microclimate matters to the service calendar. Carbon Beach and the immediate Malibu Colony frontage are the most aggressive coastal exposure on the territory; salt deposition rates run at the high end of what we see anywhere in Greater Los Angeles. Point Dume homes on the bluff edge see similar exposure plus more wind, which drives salt particles deeper into electrical compartments. Broad Beach is comparable to Carbon for direct beachfront and slightly less aggressive a few hundred feet inland. Malibu Cove and the canyon homes see substantially lower salt exposure, equipment there can run on annual rather than biannual service.
Drive time from our LA branch to a Malibu address runs 40 to 75 minutes depending on PCH traffic and the specific destination. We schedule Malibu morning slots when possible (before PCH backs up) and we stack multi-appliance Malibu calls into longer windows so a single dispatch covers the full outdoor kitchen suite. Same-day availability on Malibu calls is realistic on most weekdays and during off-peak weekends; summer Saturdays during PCH peak we often book to next-business-day to ensure we arrive with the right parts and adequate time on-site.

09, FAQ
Outdoor kitchen repair, Malibu FAQ.
How does Malibu salt air shorten the lifespan of an outdoor kitchen?
Salt-laden marine air corrodes copper, brass, and aluminum components five times faster than inland exposure, and it pits standard 304-grade stainless within 4 to 6 years. The components that fail first are predictable: igniter electrodes (corroded tips lose spark), burner ports (salt deposits narrow the gas orifice and cause uneven flames), gas valves and regulators (brass internals oxidize and stick), control knob shafts (the metal stem behind the plastic knob seizes), rotisserie motor housings, and outdoor refrigerator condenser coils. Premium brands that spec 316 marine-grade stainless on critical hardware, Twin Eagles, certain Alfresco lines, premium Lynx Professional builds, hold up substantially longer than the 304-stainless mid-tier. We see Carbon Beach and Point Dume installs come in at year 3 to 5 with corrosion patterns that don't appear on the same equipment in Calabasas until year 8 or later.
Can you service the entire outdoor kitchen on one visit?
Yes, and on a Malibu dispatch this is how we prefer to work. Grill, side burner, outdoor refrigerator, ice maker, kegerator, and rotisserie covered in a single service window. The reason matters: Malibu drive time from our Los Angeles branch runs 40 to 75 minutes each way depending on PCH traffic, and stacking a multi-appliance call means we bring the right parts inventory once instead of returning twice. We pre-confirm models on the phone (Lynx L54PSR, Alfresco ALXE-56, Twin Eagles TEBQ36R, Sub-Zero DEL3050, Marvel ML24RAS, Perlick HP24RS) so the truck rolls with the burner assemblies, igniter modules, gas valves, and refrigeration parts most commonly needed for those specific platforms.
My Lynx grill won't ignite on any burner, is the whole igniter system shot?
Probably not the entire system. On Lynx Professional grills like the L54PSR or L36PSR, total ignition failure usually traces to one of three things, and we work them in order from cheapest to most expensive. First: the battery in the spark module, Lynx uses a single AA on most professional builds and salt-air condensation accelerates battery drain; about a quarter of 'no spark' calls in Malibu resolve at the battery for under $20. Second: moisture in the spark module housing itself, water intrusion through a cracked seal lets salt corrode the contact points; we open it, dry it, treat it, sometimes replace the module ($180 to $280 installed). Third: corroded electrode tips, the actual spark electrodes near each burner pit and lose gap geometry over time; replacement is straightforward but you typically replace all of them at once because if one is gone the others are close behind. We diagnose in that order so you don't pay for parts you don't need.
What's wrong when a Sub-Zero outdoor refrigerator stops cooling on a coastal install?
Our diagnostic order on a Sub-Zero DEL3050 or UC-24RO outdoor undercounter at a Malibu Colony or Broad Beach address: (1) GFCI outlet, coastal humidity plus irrigation overspray trips the GFCI without the homeowner noticing; about a third of 'fridge stopped cooling' calls resolve here at no parts cost. (2) Condenser coil fouling, salt particles bond with airborne dust into a paste-like film that cuts heat-exchange efficiency long before the unit shows warmer interior temperatures; cleaning is included on every service visit. (3) Door gasket integrity, coastal salt accelerates gasket rubber breakdown, and a partial seal failure at the upper-left corner is the typical pattern. (4) Condenser fan motor, salt-driven bearing failure usually shows up around year 6 to 8 on coastal installs versus year 10 to 12 inland. (5) Compressor or sealed-system work, last in the order because it's the most expensive answer. We work the cheap items first and tell you what we find before authorizing parts.
How often should a Malibu outdoor kitchen be serviced?
Every six months on the coastal stretch, Carbon Beach, Malibu Colony, Broad Beach, Point Dume, anything within roughly half a mile of the Pacific. Inland Malibu (the canyon homes off Latigo, Encinal, and parts of Malibu Cove) can run on annual service. The coastal calendar covers: condenser coil cleaning on the outdoor refrigerator (salt-and-dust paste fouls coils 3x faster than inland), igniter electrode inspection and contact-point cleaning on the grill, burner port flush (salt deposits narrow the orifices), gas valve and regulator function check, drain inspection on the refrigerator, and a visual corrosion sweep on cabinet hardware. Catching salt-driven wear at the maintenance interval is roughly four times cheaper than waiting for the failure call. A $320 maintenance visit prevents a $680 burner-and-igniter rebuild.
What does outdoor kitchen repair cost in Malibu?
Diagnostic is $120 and applies toward the repair when you approve work. Typical Malibu jobs: igniter module or electrode replacement $180 to $280 on most premium platforms; single burner assembly $280 to $480 (higher on Twin Eagles and Alfresco due to OEM parts pricing); gas valve replacement $320 to $580; outdoor refrigerator compressor work $480 to $880 on Sub-Zero, less on Marvel and U-Line outdoor; full burner-and-igniter rebuild on a 36-inch grill $580 to $980; ice maker mineral and salt buildup service $220 to $380; coastal preventive maintenance visit $280 to $420 covering the full outdoor kitchen suite. Premium-brand parts uplift is real, the same igniter module on a Twin Eagles TEBQ54R can run 30 to 50 percent above the equivalent on a mid-tier brand. We give written estimates before any work begins.
Do you carry parts for Lynx, Alfresco, Twin Eagles, and DCS on the truck?
We carry the highest-volume coastal failure items on the truck for all four brands: igniter modules, electrode kits, single burner assemblies for the most common 36-inch and 54-inch builds, gas valve assemblies for Lynx Professional and Alfresco ALXE platforms, control knob and shaft kits, and rotisserie motors. Less common parts, full control panel assemblies, sealed-system refrigeration components on Sub-Zero outdoor units, specialty Twin Eagles burner builds, come through OEM authorized distribution with a 2 to 4 day lead. On the diagnostic visit we identify the part, give you a written quote, and if it's a stocked item we usually finish the same day. Malibu drive time means we plan ahead so you don't pay for two trips.
Should I cover my outdoor kitchen at the end of summer?
Yes, with the caveat that the cover needs to be a breathable, properly fitted, brand-matched cover, not a generic vinyl tarp. Trapped moisture under a non-breathable cover does more damage than no cover at all in coastal exposure: condensation forms under the cover, salt accumulates in the trapped humidity, and corrosion accelerates inside what was supposed to be protection. Brand-matched covers from Lynx, Alfresco, and Twin Eagles use breathable marine-grade fabric with proper venting. We also recommend running the grill on high for 10 minutes before covering, the residual heat drives off surface moisture so the cover starts dry. Off-season (November through March in Malibu), monthly inspection under the cover catches early corrosion before it spreads.
