Condenser fan motor failure on a True T-49 two-door reach-in. The condenser was clean but the fan motor had seized, without airflow over the condenser, the compressor overheated and tripped on its thermal overload. The unit sat warm for approximately 6 hours. Temperature inside was 48°F when we arrived.

Replaced condenser fan motor with OEM True part (carried on van for this exact reason, True is common in LA restaurants). Verified refrigerant charge was within spec. Unit pulled down to 38°F within 90 minutes. Operator was able to assess inventory with confirmed temperature log, most protein product was borderline; we helped document the temperature recovery for their records.
