Heartland made premium retro ranges and refrigerators for years, and plenty of them are still in LA kitchens — but here's the fact that shapes every Heartland repair: Heartland stopped manufacturing appliances on October 31, 2019. The brand bought its Oval, Sweetheart and Julia cooker lines from Elmira Stove Works in 1990 (Elmira itself is still independent and trading), then passed to AGA Marvel, into the Middleby group, and on into Composition Brands with the rest of that portfolio in February 2026; its old site now points to Marvel refrigeration. There is no active Heartland factory building new units or new parts. So a Heartland repair isn't like repairing a brand you can still buy — it's about keeping an existing appliance running, and being honest about what that takes.
