Hestan KDO30 30-inch wall oven, Brentwood
Symptom: Convection bake giving visibly uneven results — cookies along the back of the rack browning two shades darker than the front. Convection fan audibly running but airflow felt weak when owner held a hand near the vent. Unit was 5 years old, 2021 cohort.
Diagnosis: TwinVection rear-fan bearing wear — KDO uses dual convection fans (front + rear), and the rear unit had degraded enough to reduce its airflow contribution while the front continued running at full RPM.
