Coyote's Infinity Burner is a patented U-shaped stainless burner that distributes flame laterally across the cooking grate rather than the straight-tube H-burner most mass-market + premium built-in grills use. Design intent: more even heat edge-to-edge, fewer cold spots. Service implication: Infinity Burners are Coyote-proprietary (not generic replacements). Common failures at 6-10 year mark: (1) Burner-tube corrosion from outdoor exposure + high-heat thermal cycling; $260-$400 replacement per burner. (2) Clogged burner ports from particulate (wildfire ash, LA air quality); cleaning service $140-$220 often resolves without replacement. RapidSear is Coyote's SL-Series flagship infrared sear burner, reaches 1,500°F+ via ceramic-tile emitter. Common failures mirror other luxury IR burner architectures: (1) Ceramic tile cracked from thermal shock (cold water during cleaning, rain on hot burner), $200-$320 replacement (Coyote-spec). (2) Infrared orifice fouled with particulate; cleaning service $140-$220 often resolves without parts. (3) High-flow regulator drift, RapidSear requires higher gas flow; regulator drift is subtle without other symptoms; $180-$280 replacement. (4) Separate RapidSear ignition module, if main burners fire but RapidSear doesn't, check the dedicated sear-zone ignition circuit; $200-$300 module replacement.

Versa-Rack is Coyote's modular cooking-grate system (CL + SL tiers), individual grate segments that can be independently removed for cleaning, lift-out warming rack, sear-rack insert options. Coyote Connect is the 2025 SL-Series refresh feature, WiFi-connected grill with mobile app monitoring of burner status, temperature, and cook timers. Similar pairing recovery pattern to Samsung SmartThings + GE SmartHQ + LG ThinQ on indoor appliances: (1) power-cycle the grill at the breaker for 60 seconds; (2) remove the grill completely from Coyote Connect app and re-add from scratch; (3) confirm router is 2.4 GHz, Coyote Connect doesn't pair on 5 GHz-only networks; (4) if pairing fails, the internal WiFi module ($180-$260) is the likely cause. The Connect feature is genuinely useful for slow-cook rotisserie monitoring, tells you temperature drops without going outside, but pairing drift after firmware updates is the common service call.
