The first three digits of your model number tell you who really built it: 110 (or 106) is Whirlpool, which made the majority of Kenmore laundry; 796 (or 795) is LG; 592 is Samsung; 417 or 253 is the Frigidaire/Electrolux family; and 363 is GE. This matters for a no-heat repair because a 110 Kenmore takes Whirlpool heating parts, a 796 takes LG parts, and a 592 takes Samsung parts — same badge, completely different hardware.
