Lincoln Foodservice Products has been part of Ali Group since July 2022, when Ali Group completed its acquisition of Welbilt Inc. (Lincoln's previous parent). Lincoln is headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and has manufactured commercial conveyor pizza ovens since 1958. The brand is NOT Lincoln Electric (welding equipment, completely different company despite shared name). Impinger is Lincoln's signature air-flow conveyor technology, focused jet airflow directed perpendicular to the pizza surface through distribution nozzles in the oven chamber. The impingement approach cooks faster and more uniformly than simple radiant-heat conveyor designs, and distinguishes Lincoln conveyors from competitor Middleby Marshall PS/WOW conveyors at the engineering level. Impinger is Lincoln technology, not a separate brand. Models: 1100 countertop conveyor, 1600/1620 mid-size, 2500/2501 full-size, 3000 series high-volume. Each size operates the same Impinger airflow principle at different throughput capacities.

Both are leading commercial pizza conveyor oven brands with comparable market positions; the choice for LA operators usually follows parts-chain preference and franchise spec. Middleby Marshall is the OEM standard across Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Little Caesars, and most major US chain pizza franchises, if you're operating any of those franchises, Middleby Marshall is non-negotiable per corporate spec. Lincoln Impinger serves the independent pizza restaurant market plus non-Middleby chain operations. Engineering-wise: Middleby Marshall WOW offers bi-directional air-flow (more complex); Lincoln Impinger offers focused-jet airflow (simpler mechanically). Welbilt Inc. was Lincoln's parent company from the 2000s through July 2022. When Ali Group completed the Welbilt acquisition in July 2022, Lincoln (along with Frymaster, Garland, Montague, Delfield, Master-Bilt, Kolpak, Nor-Lake, and other Welbilt brands) transitioned to Ali Group NA's parts infrastructure at Winston-Salem, North Carolina. (Pitco was NOT a Welbilt brand and is not in this Ali transition list — Pitco is Middleby Corporation family via the Blodgett 1981 chain, on a separate parts pipeline.) Integration is substantially complete as of 2026, though a small subset of specialty parts still route through legacy Welbilt channels with 5–8 day lead times. Uneven cooking on a Lincoln Impinger is almost always an impingement air-flow problem. The Impinger design directs focused jet airflow perpendicular to the pizza surface through distribution nozzles in the chamber; when those nozzles partially block, the fan motor wears, or air-distribution plates shift, airflow loses uniformity and pies cook unevenly across the belt. The fix is air-flow calibration, $280–$480, sometimes with nozzle cleaning or fan-motor service.
